Today's experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I went in to ship my package out today I had to box it up which the clerk did provide to me which was fine and dandy. Upon completion of me packaging up my package the clerk was doing some tasks, looked like he was scanning some envelopes that were to be shipped so I waited until he was done which I had no problem with. Mind you i am the only patron here at this location at the time and I am a frequent visitor. A older Caucasian woman walks in as I am standing there waiting for him to let me know he is finished so I can get my package shipped and the lady walks right to the counter and he helps her like I wasn't even standing there at all. The lady recognizes she's wrong and asks me to go in front of her which I declined because he should have known what was right to begin with. After her transaction is completed her and the clerk Dennis proceed to have a long conversation nothing about business as I am standing there. I have a business to run and I had my children in the car waiting for me. I left money on the counter for the bubble wraps I used and left. I had to drive 15 mins out of my way to go to another post office to ship my package because I was so disgusted with the service today and I will not return there even if it is the closest post office to me. I'm not sure if it is because I am non Caucasian led to this service today or what but I guess it's to be expected in this town.
